Soldiers assigned to the "Can Do Battalion," 3rd Battalion, 15th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, conduct funeral honors for Cpl. Donald L. Menken, a U.S. Army Korean War casualty who served in Company K, 3rd Bn., 15th IR, 3rd ID, who was interred at Green Acres Cemetery in Ermine, Kentucky, May 14, 2022. Menken was reported missing in action after being wounded by artillery fire while guarding Outpost Harry on June 10, 1953, on a road to Seoul, Republic of Korea, in what is now the Demilitarized Zone and his remains were unaccounted for until Feb. 2, 2022, and then repatriated to the place Menken called home.
