U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Brett M. Hatter an anti-tank missilemen with Weapons Company, Third Battalion, Third Marine Regiment (3/3), climbs the side of a cliff using the top-roping method at Lower Training Area, Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bridgeport, California on Oct. 5,2012. The cliff assault course was a part of Mountain Ex. 12.7, a twelve day exercise meant to prepare the marines of 3/3 both physically and mentally for high elevation environments.
