Robert Gomez, a combat medic for Delta Company, Brooks Army Medical Center, quickly dawned his pro-mask as he advanced through the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear portion of the Expert Field Medical Badge testing Oct. 1. The yellow smoke simulated a chemical attack that Gomez was later tested on his ability to decontaminate himself.
