Lt. Col. Derrick Murray, Commander, 6th Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade, 1st Armored Division gives overarching guidance to the leaders participating in the brigade's exercise control and opposing force rehearsal at Rodriguez Live Fire Complex, Republic of Korea, on May 14, 2022; the purpose of the exercise control and opposing force rehearsal was to synchronize the actions of the higher command and opposing force during the exercise, providing effective training to the unit. Soldiers from across the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team “Ready First”, 1st Armored Division (the current 2nd Infantry Division (ROK-US Combined Division) rotational brigade) participated in the “Warrior Ready Strike” training exercise to increase their proficiency, learn about operating in the Republic of Korea, and re-affirm the commitment to the ROK-US Alliance.
