Jacob Starr, center, the operations officer aboard Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Mobile (LCS 26), leads a tour of the mission bay to members of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce during a scheduled tour. LCS is a fast, agile, mission-focused platform designed to operate in near-shore environments, winning against 21st-century coastal threats.
