Joseph Williams presented an overview of Africa and the U.S. Army's mission in Africa to students of the universities of Verona and Padova during a guest lecture at Vicenza University, April 28, 2020. Williams, director of the Security Cooperation Directorate for U.S. Army Southern European Task Force, Africa, discussed SETAF-AF's role in building partnerships in Africa and its work with partner countries to increase stability and security, improve interoperability and training and build partnership capacity across the continent.
