A search and rescue Soldier of the Army Reserve’s 409th Engineer Company, Windsor, Colorado, records information for team members during search and rescue training at Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, April 29. The unit responded to a simulated explosion in a multistory urban building, evaluated chemical threats and extracted simulated casualties. The recorded information left by team members communicates where future teams can resume a search, possible threats encountered and casualty information.
