NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (April 21, 2022) Captain Todd Marzano, commanding officer of the aircraft carrier, Pre-Commissioning Unit (PCU) John F. Kennedy (CVN 79) and Dave White, construction director from HII's Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) division, review items being placed in the island landing time capsule in flight deck control aboard the ship. The time capsule will be opened in the future during John F. Kennedy’s refueling and complex overhaul. John F.
