Soldiers with A-Company, 1-158th Infantry Battalion, Arizona Army National Guard, conduct a patrol through the desert just before locating and engaging enemy forces defending a mortar position during Operation Sicario, a training exercise held at Florence Military Reservation in Florence, Arizona on Apr. 23.
Operation Sicario was a large exercise involving infantry, aviation, medical and public affairs elements and served to develop and hone the ability of each disparate unit to operate cohesively and effectively with each other across a spread-out and chaotic battlefield.
