On April 20, 2022, advanced placement anatomy and physiology students from Lejeune High School attended a STEM fair hosted by Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune. The event introduced different areas of study within the medical field that use science, technology, engineering and math. Hands-on demonstrations were available for the students.
For several months, NMCCL staff members have been visiting area schools to help revive its STEM outreach program which had been paused due to the pandemic. This was the first STEM Fair NMCCL has hosted since the onset.
