A CH-47 Chinook helicopter from the U.S. Army’s 12th Combat Aviation Brigade transports aircrews assigned to 1-214th General Support Aviation Battalion conduct individual and collective aerial gunnery qualification as part of a week-long training exercise at the Nadarzyce Training Area, Poland, March 24, 2022. The training allows air crews to enhance their proficiency with the M240H machine gun weapon system and improve their readiness to support casualty evacuation operations. The 12th CAB is among other units assigned to V Corps, America’s Forward Deployed Corps in Europe that works alongside NATO Allies and regional security partners to provide combat-ready forces, executes joint and multinational training exercises, and retains command and control for all rotational and assigned units in the European theater.
