The 82nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron (ERQS) created a rescue operations center during an Agile Combat Employment Exercise near Arta, Djibouti, April 8, 2022. The 82nd ERQS and Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa Personnel Recover Coordination Cell, in concert with a U.S. Marine Corps MV22, conducted organic maritime insertion and infiltration to remote island training complex, while establishing a rescue operations center and forward-deployed command and control capabilities for maritime personnel rescue operations in contested environments.
