U.S. Army Command. Sgt. Maj. Zane Hanson, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade command sergeant major, recognizes 1st. Lt. Benton Weeks, an Aviation officer, assigned to Charlie Company, the 1-3rd Attack Battalion for orchestrating one of the battalion Org Day events at Lielvarde Air Base, Latvia on April 14, 2022. Weeks coordinated with the host nation cafeteria and orchestrated a BBQ for the Soldiers assigned to the 1-3rd Attack Battalion. 12 CAB is among other units assigned to V Corps, America's Forward Deployed Corps in Europe that works alongside NATO Allies and regional security partners to provide combat-ready forces, execute joint and multinational training exercises, and retains command and control for all rotational and assigned units in the European Theater.
