U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Gen. Charles Chiarotti (Ret.), the president and chief executive officer of the Marine Corps Association (MCA), provides opening comments during the third annual MCA Information Awards Dinner in Arlington, Virginia, April 14, 2022. The awards dinner, administered by the Deputy Commandant for Information, recognized Marines, civilians and units across the Marine Corps for their outstanding performance and impact in the information environment. In total, the event recognized 16 individual awards and 3 units chosen from information communities including Intelligence, Command, Control, Communications and Computers (C4), Cyber, Psychological Operations (PSYOP), Space, Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations, Communication Strategy and Operations (COMMSTRAT) and Civil Affairs (CA).
