Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS McCampbell (DDG 85) arrives to its new homeport of Naval Station Everett, Washington April 8, 2022. Prior to relocating, the ship underwent an extensive Depot Modernization Period in Portland, Oregon that spanned more than 18 months. The modernization included improvements to the hull, mechanical systems, electrical technology, wireless communications, and weapon upgrades.
