A U.S. Marine with the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing aboard a UH-1Y Venom provides overwatch alongside a AH-1W Super Cobra while a U.S. Air Force CV-22B Osprey assigned to the 352d Special Operations Wing practice landing in a simulated hostile combat landing zone, March 12, 2022, during exercise Cold Response ‘22 in northern Norway. This training was conducted to better familiarize each unit with each other's tactics and protocols. Exercise Cold Response '22 is an annual Norwegian national readiness and defense exercise that takes place across Norway, with participation from each of its military services, as well as from 26 additional North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) allied nations and regional partners.
