The Main Committe of the NACA met in Washington,D.C., twice a year, the annual meeting being held in October and the semiannual meeting in April. Among the matters discussed at this semiannual meeting on 18 April 1929 was the forthcoming construction of a full-scale wind tunnel and a seaplane channel at Langley. Left to Right: John F.
