    Hampton Roads Naval Museum

    Volunteers and staff members from the Hampton Roads Naval Museum are pictured in-front of the Eagle figurehead from the steam frigate USS Lancaster. The figurehead is displayed in the main entrance area of the Mariners Museum in Newport News, Virginia; it has a wingspan of 18 feet, weighs 3,200 pounds and carved by James Haley Bellamy.
