PACIFIC OCEAN (April 9, 2022) – Aviation Support Equipment Technician 2nd Class Jose Lopez performs maintenance on the fuel pump of a pressure washer aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) flight deck, April 9. Sailors of Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Department (AIMD) perform maintenance on all ground support equipment (GSE) to support mission readiness.
