(April 8, 2022) – Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Fuel) Airman Stirling Brown performs a fuel system icing inhibitor test aboard amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8), April 8. Navy aircraft require purified fuel in order to keep the ship’s aircraft fully operational.
