U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Taylor Beams, a 3rd Operations Group Agile Combat Employment loadmaster, directs a forklift during Polar Force 22-4 at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, March 31, 2022. The forklift is carrying materials used to construct a solar-powered tent that can be deployed in austere locations, and is being tested during this iteration of Polar Force. This iteration is ACE-focused and supports the mission of the U.S. Pacific Air Forces, ACE execution, and the development of innovative operational concepts to be more lethal, adaptive, resilient, and effective across all military operations.
