SAN DIEGO (April 5, 2022) Capt. Kim Davis, Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) San Diego’s commanding officer (center left), awards Lina Silva-Cestero, a counselor at the Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program (SARP) clinic on board Naval Base Point Loma (center right), with a Star Performer Award during a ceremony at the clinic April 5. The Star Performer Award is given monthly to a staff member in recognition of their customer service excellence. NMRTC San Diego's mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research.
