U.S. Army Soldiers from the 130th Engineer Brigade train the Papua New Guinea Defense Forces on Critical Site Security and Junction packing in Lae, Papua New Guinea on March 23. This b-lateral exercise (Tamiok Strike 22) training improved the PNG Defense Force overall tactical ability. Combined military readiness and responsiveness requires combined training. Tamiok Strike reinforces U.S. commitments to our Oceania Treaty allies, and other regional partners, training for an ever-increasing complexity in the 21st century, reinforcing joint readiness, and the interoperability to fight and win together.
