U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Cory West from 3rd Platoon, Baker Company, 1-15 Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, secures the roadway as a flat bed truck carrying the base and two tiers for a guard tower are brought in during a joint operation with Concerned Local Citizens in Al Ja'ara, Iraq, Dec. 3, 2007. The joint operation is to erect a new guard tower which is going to be manned by CLC to help disrupt enemy activity in the area.
