220314-N-NW981-1025 YOKOSUKA, Japan (March 14, 2022) U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka (USNHY) physicians and Japanese fellowship program physicians tour a battle dressing station aboard the U.S. Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Fellowship program physicians learn outpatient and inpatient medicine, as well as serve as medical liaisons between USNHY and local Japanese hospitals. Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United States, and supports alliances, partnerships and collective maritime interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
