A U.S. Army AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopter assigned to 1-3rd Attack Battalion, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade, rests under the sun prior to an air assault exercise conducted by the United States, Lithuania, and the United Kingdom, at Kazlu Ruda, Lithuania, Feb. 28, 2022. The multinational exercise took place on March 1, 2022. Saber Strike and exercises like it show that the U.S. and European forces can simultaneously support ongoing operations and regularly scheduled training without degradation in supporting NATO allies and partners.
