Shamoi Hendrickson, motor transport operator, 16th Sustainment Brigade, prior to presenting him with a coin during a visit to Lielvārde Air Base, Latvia on March 10, 2022. Hendrickson called his mother in the U.S. Virgin Islands so she could watch the presentation. Staff Sgt. Maricarmen Olivier (right), motor transport operator, 16th Sustainment Brigade, spoke about Hendrickson’s performance. Broadwater met with the Soldiers of the 1-3rd Attack Battalion and 16th Sustainment Brigade during his visit.
