Alaska Air National Guard loadmasters assigned to the 144th Airlift Squadron, Alaska Air National Guard, prepare to drop flares out of a of a C-17 Globemaster III into the Pacific Ocean near Homer, Alaska, March 3, 2022. The AKANG conducted an exercise with the 212th Rescue Squadron to simulate a water rescue.
