Air Force Tech. Sgt. Stephen Thackery, 33rd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron medic, stands by one of the squadron's HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopters, Dec. 29. Since February, 2006, HH-60s, like those assigned to the 33rd ERQS, have been flying alongside Army helicopters to help provide medical evacuation throughout Afghanistan.
