A container of parts for RG-31 armored vehicles is driven off the tugboat-barge combination, Thunder and Lightning, at a port in Kuwait, Dec. 23. The barge carried more than 50 RG-31 armored vehicles from South Africa, to be delivered to troops in Iraq under a Department of Defense program to equip them with mine protected vehicles.
