Brig. Gen Steven Allen, 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command command general, was joined by Gen. Kim, Jeong Su, commanding general of Republic of Korea Army's Second Operations Command, at Pier 8 in Busan, February 27, 2022. They were accompanied by ROK and 19th ESC staff. Beginning in late February, the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, from Fort Bliss, Texas, began arriving in Korea as the next rotational armored brigade combat team to support 2nd Infantry Division/ROK-US Combined Division and Eighth Army. Their equipment offloaded from ships Feb. 26-27.
