A C-17 Globemaster III, locally renowned as ‘The Spirit of Inouye,’ rests on the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, flightline Feb. 24, 2022. The aircraft was named after Daniel K. Inouye, a Medal of Honor recipient who served as a U.S. Senator for nearly 50 years.
