Master Chief Petty Officer Rashaun Morris served in the Coast Guard Reserve for over 34 years, spanning a number of duty stations and positions. She was the first African American servicemember to hold the position of the 1st Coast Guard District's Reserve Command Master Chief, and held that position until she retired in 2021.
