Airman 1st Class Hunter Trowbridge, 51st Maintenance Squadron Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) apprentice, visually inspects a part for possible cracks, corrosion and misalignment at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Feb. 17, 2022. It is the responsibility of NDI personnel to visually inspect and perform different procedures such as using penetrant to determine if a material is usable or not. Penetrant is used to detect discontinuities such as cracks on parts made of nonporous materials.
