Airman 1st Class Hunter Trowbridge, 51st Maintenance Squadron Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) apprentice, dons her personal protective equipment at Osan Air Base, Republic of Korea, Feb. 17, 2022. Personal protective equipment, commonly referred to as PPE, is equipment worn to minimize exposure to hazards that cause serious workplace injuries and illnesses. Due to the various chemicals and testing NDI personnel encounter, it is essential for them to wear PPE.
