U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Adam Piper, an infantry Marine with 1st Battalion, 3d Marines, 3d Marine Division, holds a defensive fighting position during Jungle Warfare Exercise 22 in the Central Training Area, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 17, 2022.
