A U.S. Marine with 2nd Supply Battalion opens a gate to allow a vehicle carrying concrete into a construction zone during the construction of an earth-covered artillery magazine for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems at the Ammunition Supply Point on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Feb. 17, 2022. As a result of a 10th Marine Regiment military construction project, 2nd Supply Battalion, in coordination with the Marine Corps Installations East Base Explosive Safety office, has increased the installation's ammunition storage capacity to enable the Camp Lejeune Ammunition Supply Point to have enduring support for HIMARS capabilities in 2nd Marine Division and enhance the overall readiness and capabilities of II Marine Expeditionary Force.
