U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Dalton Basralian, a rifleman with Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team (FASTPAC), stand security at Naha Military Port, Okinawa, Japan, Feb. 8, 2022. The FASTPAC conducted an insert and perimeter set up in preparation for a 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit Certification Exercise (CERTEX).
“The training that we get here is a lot different than the normal infantry training,” said Basralian. “It was crazy to see the difference between [Infantry Training Battalion] and when I got here. I’ve only been with FASTPAC since April and I’ve gotten to do different ranges, training at Camp Fuji, and all kinds of infantry events. Now we are here doing a CERTEX where we will be standing post and setting security for whatever comes at us.”
