Cpl. Nathan Whitwood watches as two CH-53E Super Stallion heliopters from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) depart Barisal Airfield. The Marines are providing helicopter airlift support for the relief efforts in the wake of tropical cyclone Sidr. The amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) and the embarked elements of the 22nd MEU (SOC) arrived off the coast of Bangladesh Nov. 23 to assist in the relief efforts in the wake of tropical cyclone Sidr.
