220222-N-MQ631-1060 GROTON, Conn. (Feb. 02, 2022) Naval Security Forces participate in an active shooter drill on pier 17 onboard Naval Submarine Base (SUBASE) New London. The active shooter drill was part of SUBASES’s predominant exercise “Solid Curtain”. The anti-terrorism and force protection exercise is conducted by Navy installations within the continental United States to ensure that the Navy is ready to respond to changing and dynamic threats at all times.
