Two helmets sit atop a T-38 Talon in preparation for one of nearly 200 sorties flown out of Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas on Feb. 3, 2022. Laughlin AFB supports the 47th Flying Training Wing mission to train pilots for the United States Air Force, Air Force Reserve, Air National Guard and allied nation air forces, utilizing the T-6A Texan II, T-38C Talon, and T-1A Jayhawk aircraft to perform this mission, while striving to build combat-ready Airmen, leaders, and pilots.
