Educators and influencers from Recruiting Station Richmond step on the yellow footprints, traditionally the first direction that new recruits receive when first arriving at the Island, during the 4th Marine Corps District’s 2022 Educators’ Workshop (EWS) at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C., February 3, 2022. The Marine Corps Recruiting Command conducts EWS annually to inform high school educators, coaches, counselors, local media representatives, and other key influencers in the community about the process of becoming a United States Marine and to raise awareness of the opportunities and benefits for qualified individuals in the Marine Corps.
