    Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve   

    U.S. Army Soldiers from Bravo Company, 4th Battalion, 9th Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division conduct a live-fire mortar and crew-served weapons exercise at Iraq’s Al Asad Air Base on Jan. 18, 2022. While the Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve’s combat role has ended, the Coalition maintains the inherent right of self- defense.
