BAY OF BENGAL (Jan. 9, 2021) Sailors use chocks and chains to secure a MH-60R Sea Hawk, attached to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 37, on to the flight deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), Jan. 9. Pearl Harbor, part of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), along with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with alliances and partners and serve as a ready response force to ensure maritime security and a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
