Aviation Maintenance Administrationman 3rd Class Buddy Varnadore, from Bossier City, Louisiana, assigned to USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) aircraft intermediate maintenance department, carries a water eductor during a a ruptured pipe casualty during a Phase III crew certification evaluation, Jan. 27, 2022. Phase III Crew Certification focuses on how the ship’s training teams accomplish necessary crew training needed to return the ship to sea.
