APRA HARBOR, Guam (Jan. 26, 2022) – Gunner’s Mate 2nd Class Martin Coffer, from Chicago, stands security watch on the flight deck aboard USS Tulsa (LCS 16) as the Independence-variant littoral combat ship conducts a berth shift at Naval Base Guam. Tulsa, part of Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 7, is on a rotational deployment, operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
