U.S. Air Force Gen. Jeffrey Harrigian, U.S. Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa commander, signs a guest book at the Genocide Memorial in Kigali, Rwanda, Jan. 25, 2022. Harrigian is attending the 2022 African Air Chiefs Symposium, a multinational security cooperation initiative facilitated by U.S. Air Forces Africa. The symposium serves to build upon previous symposia by identifying key challenges confronting African air chiefs, discussing resource sharing and aircraft sustainment, and seeks to strengthen partner networks by expanding membership of the Association of African Air Forces.
