A U.S. Navy Sailor prepares to open a ramp during Littoral Exercise I (LEX) aboard the USS Wichita (LCS-13) on Jan. 24, 2022. During LEX I, Marines and Sailors are experimenting with new concepts and forces to prepare for future scenarios in littoral environments along the East Coast.
