Kim Davis, Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command (NMRTC) San Diego’s commanding officer (right), Command Master Chief Richard Bolton, NMRTC San Diego’s command master chief (left), and Sailors assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Unit Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) San Diego, pose for a photo during a recognition ceremony at the clinic Jan. 20. During the ceremony, Sailors were recognized for saving the lives of two unresponsive Marine recruits, one on Dec. 11, 2021 and the other on Jan. 14, 2022. NMRTC San Diego’s mission is to prepare service members to deploy in support of operational forces, deliver high quality healthcare services and shape the future of military medicine through education, training and research.
