Fist bumps like this one take place between Soldiers and Afghan children temporarily staying at Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar, take place hundreds of times each since. Meant as a sign of respect and friendship, the Soldiers say they suspect it’s a quick way to say hello as well as because children trust them and know they are here to help.
